bella vista room RESERVATION POLICY

The Bella Vista Room at Coast Restaurant is available for lunch from 12pm until 4.30pm and for dinner from 6pm until close. The Bella Vista Room can accommodate parties of any number up to and including 22 persons (seated) and stand-up cocktail events up to 60 persons.

The Bella Vista Room also has its own private terrace which is perfect for pre-dining drinks and canapés on arrival.

No hire is charge is levied for dining in the Bella Vista Room, however a minimum spend of $1500 for lunch and $1800 for dinner is required.

Parties in the Bella Vista Room will have the exclusive service of a dedicated waiter. An 8% gratuity is applicable to tables of 10 guests or more.

The Bella Vista a la carte menu is offered, or a three course set menu at a cost of $88 per person may be devised if required. We also design a specially created tasting menu which is available with or without matched wines at a cost of $165/$115 per person.

Coast Restaurant prefers if guests could pre select wine in advance, in order that we can guarantee your choice and control your budget requirements. Canapés can be served upon arrival on the private terrace if pre organised. All food and beverage requirements should be settled at least 4 days in advance of the date of the function.

Generally no speeches, telegrams or private entertainers are allowed at parties in the restaurant, unless approved by restaurant management.

To confirm your booking a deposit of 50% of the minimum spend. All bookings are considered provisional until the deposit has been paid. Tentative reservations can be held for 7 days. Failing receipt of the deposit in due time, Coast reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Deposits can be paid in person using cash, cheque or credit card, or by posting a cheque for the agreed amount made payable to Coast Restaurant. Credit card details can be accepted by fax only.

Final guest numbers are required 2 days prior to your function. This will be the minimum number of guests charged on the day.

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, Coast requires a minimum of 31 working days notice to ensure a refund of your deposit. If notice of cancellation is less than 31 days from the date of your event your original 50% deposit will be retained. If notice of cancellation of less than 72 hours 100% of your deposit will be retained.
